Services

Click Here to Read our COVID-19 Response

To be considered for our free, volunteer-based services, seniors must:

  • Be 60 years of age or older and able to manage own care needs.
  • Live independently – not in an adult family home or nursing home — and who need some help to remain independent in their own home.
  • Available to complete a home visit with Eastside Friends of Seniors staff.
  • Reside in Issaquah or Sammamish.  We also provide direct service for some clients in parts of Bellevue and the Snoqualmie Valley area.  However, at this time, we are not accepting new clients in the Snoqualmie Valley and Bellevue areas.

Our services are provided at no cost, but we welcome donations.

Services We Provide

More than a service, we’re a trusted friend who helps with:

Transportation to Medical Appointments

A door-through-the-door service from your home into your health care provider’s office, and back.

Shopping and Errands

Not just a ride, but help in the store, and putting your groceries away at home, if you need it.

Home and Yard Chores

Lite, occasional housekeeping, handyman chores, and yard work.

Information and Referrals

Eastside Friends of Seniors is not licensed to help with physical care such as bathing, physical therapy or medications. But we know people who can.  Our professional team can connect you to resources in the community who may help when we cannot.
